My dad, Bernie Griffin started his home inspection company in the 1990's after a long career in the construction business. I was often around as his lackey while growing up on construction sites and was fortunate enough to join him full time in 2003 as a home inspector also. After working for him for a few years I was ultimately able to fend for myself and branched out on my own. Six of the ten homes I've lived in throughout my life were built before 1900 where I appreciate and have an abundance of experience of what its like to inspect and own a vintage home. Otherwise, I was born and raised in Lakewood Colorado, graduated from the University of Colorado in 1997 and have lived in the various neighborhoods surrounding the Capitol Hill area of Denver ever since. I probably identify as a cyclist above anything else but am also dedicated to skiing and exploring the country in a van with my wife, two daughters and dog.
